Have you ever had to try and explain to your mum and dad how to use a new software? Well then you have to train up EVERY teacher that uses a computer within that district. After all, they don't want the students being "Smarter" than the teachers. Plus the "Image" that they copy to a comp if it messes up makes sense too.. But can't they just add OOo to the image? What is wrong with running MSO along with OOo? Nothing as far as my computer is concerned! It's all about Microsofts "Use our sofware or your computers will crash" technique.
