How many people actually read what I post? How many people care?

Anyways, this is whats new with me.

• I’m going to go the a mitigation hearing for my ticket and see what I can do with it.
• My house’s water tank is broken so we have no water.
• My cat Prozac has just been diagnosed with diabetes and is going to need 2 shots of insulin a day. I don’t know what we are going to do about that…
• I have been working nonstop for the past 3 days on my remaining college applications. UW is done, OSU is done apart from the paper that needs to be mailed, WWU needs to be paid for and transcript mailed, NU needs the essay done and some stuff…must be done by the 31st hoping to get done by tomorrow.
• I’m sick.
• At the moment I’m downloading 2GB of new music.

Thats about it for now.

So I have been wanting to do this for a while but I had to get the new design done and everything organized first.

I now have my website files on my computer synced with a subversion server that I found. So when I update a page I just commit the change to the subversion server and run “svn up” on my website and everything is up to date without me forgetting anything.

I believe I have finished everything up on the new design. So its up!

The things older browsers and the IE series wont see with this design are the rounded corners, image drop shadow, correct font, check on every visited link in the content and the sites logo in the head. Sorry IE users but I dont wanna hack for you.

I would also like to thank Adobe Kuler for help with the colour scheme and the people who commented on improvements for the design in the beta stages.

Sadly, today I got my first traffic ticket.

I was riding on the road with my ATV like I have done for three years and the cops seemed to have pulled out just when I was about home! The ticket is $258!! I dont even have my license yet!

Ahhh. life sucks.

That’s right people! I have been working for the past week brainstorming, coding, and designing the next version of this site. And tonight I have finally [almost] finished the basic design! And I have to say I really like this design. Right now its just 1 file with CSS and HTML, stuff jumbled around, not very organized but thats usually what happens when your messing with stuff as fast as you can.

I’m planning on AJAXing the site up to make it fun for the users. jQuery is looking pretty good right now but I know very little about the AJAX scene so I’m going to have to do a lot of reading on that.

Anyways, its just about 11:30pm and I need to get to bed because I don’t know if school is going to get canceled tomorrow due to the snow that is supposed to hit tonight.

Seriously, M$ lives in the past and they are afraid to move into the future. IE8 for example. They need to let trident die. For gods sake, IE8 is JUST passing the ACID2 test! The main thing M$ is doing is trying to be compatible with everything before it. Let the web pages that are not coded to standard die already. I could go on and on with this but I’ll just say the gist of it. Every version of IE is bad. It is causing the most harm to the internet then any other browser. So I urge anyone who is still using any version of IE to switch to Firefox or Opera (or Safari if you prefer that) because I’m not going to test my sites with IE anymore and I’m not going to try to hack them to make them work. I will also be using a bunch of HTML, CSS, etc elements that IE does not support, and probably wont support for a long time.

Just a short list of things IE8 wont support are CSS3, SVG, and true XHTML 1.1.

By the way, I’m using Firefox 3.1 beta 3 nightly build, and Opera 10 alpha 1. I also have Safari 3 (and have tested Safari 4 developer beta but I saw no difference) but I don’t use it and don’t like it.

Last night I went music surfing and downloaded 180 new songs to go in my collection and that bumped me up to over 1000 songs! This has been made possible by SkreemR, The Hype Machine, Songbird and Torrents.

The more and more I think about it, the more I want it; the more I want you.

The table I sit at is longer when your at the other end. When I look down it I see the darkness of the never ending tunnel to you. I know that if I run for you the table will keep getting longer. The one thing that keeps me going is knowing you are that the other end. So I run for it, I run for you. Trailing me is the universe expanding to keep me away from you. The faster I run, the closer it gets to me. Like a rope tied around my body, it pulls me back. I look behind me and all I see is the darkness of nothing. It grabs and pulls me into it. As I look ahead I can see an outline, an outline of you. At that moment the rope snaps and my body flies forward. It was like the pull of gravity was on my side, pushing me towards you. As I got closer and closer I could see you more and more. I looked behind myself and saw the darkness spreading, surrounding me. But I knew not even the universe itself could keep me away from you. Every second that passed by I was moving faster and faster. The corners of my eyes saw nothing but a blur. I saw the end of the table, and in an instant, there you were. And as fast as you were in my arms, the darkness was gone, and there we stood. Body to body. Soul to soul. And heart to heart.
